Young and Hungry: Finale:(
Hey guys! Sadly, today I am writing my final blog. In the spirit of finales, I am writing about the season finale of the ABC Family show, "Young and Hungry." I recently started to watch this show on Netflix. On Netflix, they only have season one for streaming. Currently, season two has started on the air. The season finale of season one was definitely heart-breaking. If you don't know what this show is about, it shows the struggling life of a young 20 year old women named, Gabi. She lives with her best friend in a small, run-down apartment and lands a job for a well-off technical entrepreneur, Josh, to be his personal chef. The first night, he breaks up with his girlfriend and after a few drinks, sleeps with Gabi. There are always ups and downs, whether it be relationships or fighting to be Josh's favorite. The season finale was amazing and highly frustrating. Before I say anything, I'm warning you guysfor major spoiler alerts if you have yet to see it. In the final episode, Josh realizes that his fiancé is very wrong for him and calls off the wedding that was supposed to happen the next day. He then realizes that Gabi is his soul-mate and that she's in love with him. Gabi is at home alone when suddenly, right before Josh comes in to be with her, her ex-boyfriend comes back from China. Josh is left outside alone in the rain, crushed that he didn't make it on time. When I watched this, you don't even understand how annoyed I was with this ending and how excited I am for season two to come on Netflix. Throughout the season, the viewers know that Josh and Gabi were always supposed to be together but, the fiancé was always in the way. Hopefully, the writers of the show will put them together next season because this can't all happen again. Season two will be interesting because now, Josh will be fighting for Gabi, while in season one, it was the other way around. It will be fun to see the tables turn. I recommend this show a ton and you should go on Netflix and enjoy it with some food and your imaginary model boyfriend. It was great talking to you guys and have an awesome day.
Bye,
Alex:)

Gilmore Girls
Hello guys! Recently, on Netflix, I started a show that was on the air a few years ago. This is, “Gilmore Girls.” I am currently obsessed with this show because it is such a genuine show that previews all of the crazy things that go on in an average person’s daily life. This show is all about a 32 year-old mom named, Lorelai Gilmore, who got pregnant at 16 with her daughter, Rory. Rory is now 16 and they live alone together in the very small town of Stars Hollow, Connecticut. They have such an amazing relationship and Lorelai acts like she is the same age as Rory at times. They both have their ups and down’s whether it be private school drama, boy troubles, for both Rory and Lorelai, or when the father of Rory pays an unexpected visit. What I enjoy is that their family is not perfect but they make each and every go by helping each other out for the better. I also personally love the romance in this because it sure does get juicy! This show first aired its pilot on October 5, 2000 and ended on May 15, 2007. Lorelai is played by Lauren Graham and Rory is played by Alexis Bledel, who also was in the “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” which is one of my all-time favorite movies. Furthermore, this show received four out of five stars on IMDB and a four and a half on TV.com. I recommend this show for so many reasons, a few being the humor and the messages it sends. There is always something going on from the uprising of different conflicts and the highly adored relationship between Rory and her boyfriend Dean who is GOREGOUS!!! I think that you should go one Netflix and watch this because you definitely won't regret it.

Fuller House!
Hi and welcome back to my blog! Today’s blog will be about “Full House.” Most of you probably know about this show because it’s been around for a long time now. For those of you who don't, this show is about a father raising his three girls, after his wife dies, with the help of his brother-in-law and his best friend. Different characters come along as the show progresses and in each episode there is a lesson learned. It is such a cheesy show with the most predictable outcomes that everyone seems to love. Honestly the cheesier the show is the better it gets! Following this show, there is a new show coming around in the Netflix town. Recently, it has been confirmed that, in 2016, there will be a thirteen episode sitcom of “Fuller House.” This show will basically be a spinoff of the original show. It will be about the oldest daughter, DJ, played by Candace Cameron, living alone with her kids after her husband dies. This is ironic considering the plot of the original show. Then, to help out DJ, Jodie Sweeten, or Stephanie comes. All of the other characters like Uncle Jessie, Joey and the father will be coming back as well. The only characters not making a comeback to the show are Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen who both played Michelle, the youngest daughter on the show. Hopefully this spinoff will live up to the original. Many spinoffs have not lived up the the original so "Fuller House" has to do its best to prove all of the others wrong. Many people grew up with this show, considering the fact it was from the 90's, and have a specific memory of it that they may believe can't be changed. I would be just a little scared if I was producing "Fuller House." All in all, despite all of the worry, I bet we are all excited for this. As we wait, go watch "Full House" because it is actually life. Bye everyone, see you next time:)

Gabby Douglas wins a gold metal in my heart.
Hello everybody and welcome back to my blog! Today I'm going to be talking about a documentary I watched a few months ago. This movie is called, "The Gabby Douglas Story." If you didn't already know, Gabby Douglas is the first African American woman in Olympic history to become the individual all-around champion, and the first American gymnast to win gold in both the individual all-around and team competitions at the same Olympics as well as being the only American all-around champion to win multiple gold medals. At the time, Douglas was only 15. I'm almost 15 and the greatest thing I've done was pass Middle School. That says a lot! After all of this success, film creators wanted to make a documentary of her life. Douglas didn't grow up in great fortune. On the contrary, she grew up in poverty. Nothing was ever good for her, but somehow she kept following her dream, since she was young, to become a professional gymnast. This film follows, with actors, the childhood that Douglas had. After her mother and her father got evicted from their house because the father got laid off from his job, they had to live in a trailer for a while. The father then left the mother alone with five kids to raise. The mother moved in with her mother and tried to get back on her feet. Meanwhile, the directors show Gabby Douglas always doing flips and rolls on the front lawn or at a recreation center. As a teen, Gabby has to make big choices that will effect her life greatly that will help her reach her goal. No matter how cliche it sounds, this movie shows viewers how important it is to follow your dreams and that if you do follow your dream and work hard for it, you will succeed. I couldn't recommend this film enough. I had some doubts that it would be boring, however, I was definitely wrong. I watched this film on Netflix; no surprise there. This movie received a four out of five stars on Rotten Tomatoes and was directed by Gregg Champion. By the way, when I first watched this movie, I started to freak out because the girl that plays Gabby Douglas, Imani Hakim, is the daughter from the show, "Everybody Hates Chris." She's all grown up now! All in all, you should seriously go watch it... now...go.

Bob's Burgers!!!
Hello everyone! Today's blog will be about a show that's very dear to my heart. This show is called, "Bob's Burgers." This animated TV series follows the Belcher family, who own a small burger joint that has been in the fathers family for three generations. The family, in each episode, go through many up's and down's with their struggling business but always keep their bond strong with love and a lot of humor. This show is odd yet highly relatable because many middle class families can relate to their everyday life. This show is one where you are constantly cracking up from the sly and witty side jokes from the three kids, Tina, Gene, and Louis. What I just recently found out was that Tina, the oldest, teenage daughter and Linda, the mother, are both voiced by men. Linda has a very thick New York accent which makes everything she says sound funny. This show received a four star rating on both IMDB and TV.com. The voices of Bob, Linda, Tina, Gene, and Louise are voiced by H. Jon Benjamin, Dan Mintz, Euegene Mirmin, John Roberts and Kristen Shaal. Personally, my favorite character is Tina because she is a growing teen who is boy crazy. She has a huge crush on the restaurants rival's son, who is not very fond of her. She has a fun life with her younger siblings and is always taking crazy advice from her mom and younger sister that always results badly. It makes for a good episode though! The way I watch this show is on Netflix, which contains four out of the five seasons that there are. This show is on the Fox network and is currently airing the fifth season of the show. If you enjoy relatable, family drama and humor such as the show, "Modern Family," "Family Guy," or even the "Simpsons," this show is definitely the right choice for you. I highly recommend this show and I hope you log on to Netflix and watch this because you will most likely be on there anyways! Tune in next week for yet another blog. Bye:)

Umbreakable Kimmy Schmidt!
Welcome back my loves :) Today I will be talking about a new
show made by Netflix called, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. This show is about 30
year old women named Kimmy Schmidt. She was trapped in a bunker underground,
with three other women, for 15 years by a preacher, who told them there was an
apocalypse and they were the only ones alive. Now that they were finally found
by the police, Kimmy jumpstarts her brand new, 21st century life in New York
City. I absolutely love this show! To be totally honest, I watched the whole
show in one weekend- no shame. The humor this show brings is over the top
hilarious. However, there is definitely an age limit of 13 and up. There are so
many relatable scenes and twists and turns that Kimmy gets into. The best part
is the fact that Kimmy has an old way of talking, because she went missing in
the 90's. She says things that people don't say anymore, so when she does it's
quite hilarious. My favorite character is who Kimmy rents a room with, Titus, a
gay wannabe Broadway actor, who makes ends meet as a street performer in Times
Square. They become best friends and he gives her an updated sense of style. I
can't express how much you should watch this show. The first episode aired
March 6, 2015 on Netflix and received five stars on Rotten Tomatoes and four
stars on IMDB. The writer of this show is Tina Fey, which is why it is so
funny, and Robert Carlock. Kimmy is played by, Ellie Kemper and her best
friends are played by Jane Krakowsi, Tituss Burgess, and Lauren Adams. This
show is very unique because, how many shows are like this. Well, that's all for
now. See you next time and have a very great day.

Scary Movie 5- or Scary Movie Bye
Welcome back my fellow film lover! Like I said in my last blog, this blog is going to be about a movie I didn't exactly enjoy. Last weekend I watched the most recent, "Scary Movie 5," which is a thriller/horror movie, Rated PG-13. It was recently added to Netflix, and it is a spoof of the scary movies, "Paranormal Activity" franchise, "Mama," "Sinister," "Evil Dead," "Inception," "Black Swan" and "Rise of the Planet of the Apes." If you haven't heard of, "Scary Movie 5", it is the fifth movie of the series of movies, spoofing horror movies. The series started in 2000 spoofing "Scream," "The Sixth Sense," "The Matrix," "I Know What You Did Last Summer" and "The Blair Witch Project," then goes on to mock a whole myriad of teen movie cliché. They then created three more in 2001, 2003, and 2006. The premise of the movie, is the bizarre activity happening to a couple. The wife is played by Ashely Tisdale. By the way, when I saw her I freaked out because my childhood was replaying right before my eyes. It is safe to say that she did great in this movie. The reason I don't recommend this film, is because there is no plot to it. It is all just a idiotic spoof of horror movies. If you plan to watch this with little kids- don't, because this movie contains mature scenes constantly, that are not made for the eyes of young children. I also don't recommend renting or buying this movie as well. However, if you are looking for a movie that will make you laugh, in some messed up form, then be my guest. This movie was directed by Malcom D. Lee and has a recognizable cast of, Ashley Tisdale, Lindsay Lohan, Charlie Sheen, Tyler Posey, and Snoop Dog- or Snoop Lion- or whatever his name is. It is an hour and a half long movie, and has received two stars on IMDB and one star on Rotten Tomatoes. Thanks for reading this scary post and I hope that you will tune in next week for a brand new blog:)
